WPPP Kicks Off Its Silver Year with an Exciting First Meeting of 2026
2026 marks a special milestone for WPPP—our Silver Year. Since our founding in 2001, the club has been more than just a gathering of photography enthusiasts. Every meeting has been filled with genuine camaraderie, shared laughter, and a continuing passion for learning. While some members have since retired and others remain active in the field, many continue to attend simply for the love of the community that has grown through the years.
Our first meeting of the year, held last night, set a wonderful tone for the months ahead. The evening was made even more memorable with the presence of guests from Sony Philippines, headed by Mr. Val Figueroa and Mr. Ruwen Verdaguer, in coordination with Camerahaus and Mr. Robenson Ong Lo.
Members were introduced to the latest and fastest Sony A7V camera, giving everyone an exciting look at the newest technology shaping today’s photography landscape.
With such a great start to the year, we’re looking forward to many more meaningful gatherings and learning opportunities ahead.
